Emeraude Toubia

 Emeraude Toubia, who was born on March 1st, 1989, in Canada she is an American actress and model. She played Isabelle Lightwood on Freeform's fantasy series Shadowhunters. She is of Mexican and Lebanese descent, she has previously appeared on the Venevision television series Cosita linda as Dulce Rincon and Voltea pa' que te admires as Stephanie Karam.Toubia was born in Montreal, Quebec. As a single child, she was raised in Brownsville (Texas). Mirta Sonia (nee Solis), her mother was born in Ciudad Victoria and raised by her Lebanese-American father. Her maternal grandparents came of the Koura District, Lebanon.In 1999 when she was ten, Toubia made her first television appearance on Televisa's kids' program El Mundo de los Ninos. In 2008, Toubia became well-known when she was selected to be part of the second season of Univision's beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. Here, the contestants were taught acting and dancing as well as presenting. Toubia was the first finalist. Since then, she's been featured in advertisements for companies like Maybelline, J. C. Penney, Sony, Garnier, and AT&T.
