MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. His debut album ADN was issued through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It reached the top 8 spot within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca is it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. Following that season, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. Then, in 2021 He sang a duet 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo comes from an musical family, as both his mother and elder brother are also musicians. According to him, musicality was a fundamental aspect of his daily life. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while a young child. He initially wanted to be an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from a Cuban musician, he rearranged his goals for his future career.
